TUWILA, WA : Thousands lose power in Tukwila after car crashes into pole on Sunday, January 8th 2017

About 3,400 customers were without power Sunday morning.The outage was caused by a car that crashed into a pole, Seattle City light said.The driver crashed into the pole after skidding on ice, authorities said. Alcohol and drugs are not believed to be involved.
The driver was not injured. By a bit after 10:15 a.m., under 200 homes remained without power.The crash occurred at 24th Avenue South and South Military Road close to Burien.Crews estimate power should be fully restored by around 11:20 a.m.
