Memphis, TN : 25-year-old Martell Martin died after being hit by drunk driver on I-240 in Memphis on Sunday morning, March 22, 2015

A man is dead after a crash early Sunday morning.

Early in the morning, a witness told police his car and a black Buick were involved in a crash on I-240 Eastbound between the Poplar Avenue and Walnut Grove Road exits.

According to police, shortly afterwards, a white Pontiac crashed into the back of the Buick.

The driver of the Buick, 25-year-old Martell Martin, was pronounced dead on the scene.

The driver of the Pontiac, 23-year-old Antonio Watson, and his passenger, 25-year-old Julius Betton, then got into another car and left the scene.

Officers later arrested the two men. Watson is charged with vehicular homicide, leaving the scene of an accident involving death, DUI, reckless driving, public intoxication, driving while license suspended, revoked, or canceled, and financial responsibility.

Betton is charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving death.
