HOUSTON, TX : HPD said the driver of a pickup truck heading the wrong way in the northbound lanes crashed into an SUV on Sunday, 10th November 2024

A woman is dead and three others injured, including two children, in a crash involving a wrong-way driver in north Houston early Sunday morning, according to Houston police.

Police said the crash happened just before 3 a.m. on the Eastex Freeway near Aldine Bender Road.

According to HPD, the driver of a pickup truck was heading the wrong way in the northbound lanes and crashed into an SUV that was headed in the correct direction. The woman driving the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene.
