BRIDGEPORT, CA : Bridgeport pursuit ends in crash; juvenile hospitalized on Thursday, 23rd January, 2020

Two juveniles were hospitalized and a gun was seized after a pursuit ended in a crash in the city Thursday afternoon, officials and sources said.
The pursuit began around 1 p.m.
Scott Appleby, Bridgeport’s director of emergency management/communications and homeland security, said it ended shortly after 1 p.m. near the 600 block of William Street when the driver of the vehicle crashed into a structure.
Appleby said police had been pursuing the car.
Sources said someone alerted police to the car. The caller told police that there were two juveniles that were armed and looking to shoot someone, sources said.
