Ware Shoals,SC : Coroner releases name of moped rider killed in Laurens Co. crash on January, Sunday 28th 2018

Troopers said a moped rider was killed in a crash on US 25 in Laurens County Sunday night.
The crash happened near Maddox Bridge Road in the Ware Shoals community.
Troopers sad a Chevy Impala struck the back of the moped, causing the rider to be ejected. The rider died from injuries sustained in the crash.
Coroner Nick Nichols identified the victim as 44-year-old Timothy Lee Wood. Wood died at the scene just after 10:30 p.m.
Troopers said the driver of the Impala suffered minor injuries but was not taken to the hospital. No one else was in the car.
