Motorcyclist hurt, cited, after crash on 180 in Arenas Valley in New Mexico
A motorcyclist was injured and cited for carelesss driving after running into the side of a Corre Caminos bus on Wednesday afternoon on Highway 180 in Arenas Valley.The accident occurred just after 2 p.m. when Stephen Kelly, 56, from Silver City, was attempting to turn onto Highway 180 from Kirkland Road and ran into the bus which was headed east on 180 towards Bayard, Lt. Robert McDonald with the New Mexico State Police said.Kelly was transported to Gila Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, McDonald said. Neither the driver nor the one passenger on the bus were injured.Kelly was cited for careless driving. His condition is unknown at this time.
