Pittsburgh, PA : Scottdale man dies in motorcycle accident in East Huntingdon on Sunday night, July 17, 2016

A Scottdale man died after his motorcycle collided with a car Sunday night in East Huntingdon.

Daniel S. Baranski, 42, was riding a 1992 Yamaha east on Route 31 when a westbound Honda Accord driven by William Croushore, 72, of Ruffsdale crossed into his lane to make a left turn onto Buttermore Road and the two collided, according to a report from the Westmoreland County coroner's office.

Baranski was taken to Excela Frick Hospital where he was pronounced dead. He was not wearing a helmet, according to the report.

An autopsy was scheduled for Monday.

State police are reconstructing the accident and the investigation is ongoing.
