Augusta,GA : One man dead after single vehicle wreck in Burke County on March, Monday 19th 2018

A man is dead after a single vehicle wreck in Burke County late Sunday night, according to a Burke County Sheriff’s Office news release.

Frank Joseph Grenella was pronounced dead at 1 a.m. Monday after his 2008 Ford F-250 veered off the roadway in the 1700 block of Idlewood Road at Highway 25 in Waynesboro.

The vehicle rolled over three times and traveled approximately 358 feet, the release said..

The Burke County Sheriff’s Office and EMA/Fire and Rescue responded to the call at 11:40 p.m. and worked to free Grenella from the vehicle.

Driving too fast for conditions due to rain and wet roadways and distracted driving were the contributing factors to the wreck, the release states.
