Box Elder, SD : No serious injuries in a school bus crash in southwestern South Dakota on Tuesday morning, February 16, 2016

No serious injuries have been reported in a school bus crash in southwestern South Dakota.

Highway Patrol spokesman Tony Mangan tells that the accident involving the bus and a pickup truck occurred at a highway intersection near New Underwood on Tuesday morning. Authorities are still investigating.

KNBN reports that 26 students and a driver were taken to a Rapid City hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Another bus picked up students who were not hurt and took them to their schools.
