Las Vegas, NV : 5-year-old Las Vegas girl seriously injured in hit-and-run crash on Saturday October 3 2015
A red Chevrolet Aveo thought to be involved in a hit-and-run that left a 5-year-old Las Vegas girl seriously injured was found Saturday in the Wal-Mart parking lot at Cheyenne Avenue and Rainbow Boulevard, according to Metro Police.
Also according to police:
The crash happened about 3:30 p.m. on South Waterview Drive north of West Gentle Rain Way, near Fort Apache Road and Sahara Avenue.
Two juveniles were crossing Waterview eastbound when the right side of a southbound car hit the girl. She was taken to the hospital by a family member.
The female driver of the car fled, heading south. She was described only as a young Asian or Hispanic female, and it was unclear whether she was injured.
