KISSIMMEE, FL : Woman killed in single-vehicle crash in Kissimmee on Monday, January 16, 201

A woman was killed early Monday in a single-vehicle traffic crash in Kissimmee.According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened on Funie Steed Road near Sunset Lakes Boulevard just before 3:30 a.m.

Troopers said the still unidentified woman was driving west on Funie Steed Rd when the right side of her 2006 Ford SUV collided with a raised curb, causing her to lose control of the vehicle.

Her vehicle left the roadway, struck a tree and caught fire.

Troopers said the woman was trapped in the vehicle.

The crash is under investigation.
