A Seneca man has died after a motorcycle crash in Seneca, per the coroner.
Oconee County Coroner Karl Addis said 34-year-old Jason Andrew Harbin of Tokeena Road passed away at Oconee Memorial Hospital at 10:07 p.m., about an hour and a half after he was involved in a motorcycle crash.
Troopers said the crash happened along Return Church Road near Seneca around 8:30 p.m.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
Troopers said Harbin was traveling south in a 2003 Yamaha motorcycle on Return Church Road when he crossed the center line, traveled off the left side of the road and struck a mailbox before being ejected.
He was airlifted to Oconee Memorial Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Addis said Harbin died from blunt force chest trauma. His manner of death has been classified as accidental.
