BEAVERCREEK, OH : Bicyclist taken to hospital after being hit by car on Wednesday, 28th September 2016
A man on a bicycle was hit by a car Wednesday morning.
Beavercreek Police were called to the intersection of Shakertown and Grange Hall Roads around 9:30 Wednesday morning.
Police say a man was riding west on a bicycle on Shakertown Road and was hit by a car traveling east in the intersection.
The woman driving the car suffers minor injuries and the bicyclist was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The road had been closed while police investigated the crash scene. The road reopened around 1:00 Wednesday afternoon.
Rain was reported in the area at the time of the accident but police have not said if that is the cause.
Beavercreek Police are asking if anyone saw this accident call them at 426-1225.
