Monett,MO : Aurora teen injured in wreck on November, Sunday 26th 2017

An Aurora teenager was injured on Sunday in a wreck at 2:20 p.m. on Highway 39, one mile south of Aurora.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Christopher Mayberry, 16, of Aurora, was driving a 2007 Ford Mustang southbound when he attempted to avoid another vehicle stopped in traffic, causing his vehicle to run off the roadway and overturn.

Mayberry suffered minor injuries and was transported by private vehicle to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.

He was wearing a safety device, and the vehicle sustained extensive damage.
