Las vegas ,NV : 35-year-old Lanier D. Thompson died in rollover crash near Las Vegas Strip on Saturday ,July 26th 2015

Authorities on Sunday identified a woman who was killed after a rollover crash near the Las Vegas Strip.

The Las Vegas Sun reports (http://bit.ly/1MQGxIU) the Clark County Coroner's Office says 35-year-old Lanier D. Thompson died at the scene of Saturday's crash.

According to police, Thompson was driving east around 10:30 a.m. on Sands Avenue, near Paradise Road, when her car went off the road.

Police say her car struck several trees and overturned as a result.

Thompson was pulled out of the wreckage by firefighters and was the only occupant.

The cause of her death is pending.
