An Oconomowoc woman was killed in a rollover crash Friday morning in Jefferson County.

Her child was injured but is expected to survive, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department said.

The single-car crash occurred about 6:30 a.m. on county Highway F near Willow Glen Road in the Town of Concord, officials said.

Terry Weiss, 48, was driving north on Highway F in a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe when the SUV drifted onto the east gravel shoulder causing her to overcorrect, and the SUV slid sideways and rolled over several times before stopping in a ditch, officials said.

Weiss was pronounced dead at the scene by the Jefferson County Medical Examiner's Office, and her minor child was taken to a hospital, authorities said.

Both were wearing seat belts, the sheriff's department said.

The crash is under investigation, officials said.
