Tallahassee, FL : 2 injured in crash into retention pond near Celebration are identified on Tuesday, 27th August, 2016

To people rescued from a car that drove into a retention pond Tuesday near Celebration were identified Wednesday.

Lovensky Exilas, 22, and Gloria King, 19, both of Orlando, were taken to Florida Hospital Celebration Health in critical but stable condition, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The Chrysler 2007 that Exilas was driving was eastbound on the Interstate 4 exit ramp to World Drive northbound about 6 p.m. when it crashed into the pond and sank, troopers said.

Troopers are investigating why the car left the road.
