Suwannee County, FL : Georgia man killed in I-10 crash on Thursday, 22nd August 2019

A Georgia man was killed on Interstate 10 in Suwannee County Friday when he lost control of his pickup truck and overturned, reported the Florida Highway Patrol.

Dead is Christopher Wade Hogelin, 53, of Rabun Gap. The crash happened about 12 p.m.

Hogelin was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado west on I-10 around mile marker 284 near Live Oak when he drove onto the shoulder, overcorrected, traveled back across the lanes into the median and overturned. The pickup ended up on its right side in the eastbound lanes, FHP reported.

Hogelin was taken to UF Health Shands Hospital.
