BRISTOL, CT : A man involved in a serious car crash in Bristol on Monday, October, 23rd 2017

A man involved in a serious car crash in Bristol on Monday has died.

According to police, 56-year-old Henry Flynn of Wolcott passed away as a result of the injuries sustained in the crash.

Police said Flynn was sitting in his parked truck along he curb line of Witches Rock Road when another vehicle crashed into him.

The driver of the other vehicle was identified as Lindsey Hurlbert, 21, of Granby.

Flynn suffered severe leg injuries and was transferred from a local hospital to a trauma hospital.

The incident remains under investigation.
