Phoenix, AZ : Motorcyclist who died in Phoenix crash is identified on Saturday, February 4th 2017

Police have identified a motorcyclist killed in a Phoenix crash on Saturday.

Cornelius Wouters, 53, was killed in a crash near Cave Creek and Utopia roads. Wouters was in extremely critical condition after colliding with a car. He was transported to a local trauma center but died of his injuries, officials said.

According to the Phoenix Fire Department, a female motorcyclist was also taken to the hospital with critical injuries after Wouters' bike struck her bike after it collided with the car. Police said she is expected to survive. The identity of the woman is not available, according to officials.

Phoenix police said there were no citations issued after the crash.
