Three people were taken to Berkshire Medical Center with injuries Thursday after a head-on collision on Route 7 near Ye Olde Forge restaurant.
A 2010 Hyundai Sonata was traveling southbound on Route 7 just before noon when the vehicle crossed the center line and collided with a 2014 Toyota Camry, according to Lanesborough Police Officer Jason Costa. The crash was reported by a witness who stepped into the police station after seeing the accident.
The two occupants of the Camry and the driver of the Sonata were all transported by ambulance to Berkshire Medical Center with unknown injuries, Costa said.
There were no citations issued at the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
