Jacksonville ,FL : Child ejected from car in head-on collision with tractor-trailer on Wednesday ,May 27th 2015

seriously injured in a head-on crash Wednesday on the Westside.
Troopers said the child was thrown from a car that collided with a semi on Normandy Boulevard near McClelland Road, not far from the Equestrian Center.
Troopers said the crash was reported around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday and involved a bronze-colored Hyundai Elantra.

The car, which was eastbound, crossed the center line and hit the back of the semi, troopers said.
The crash damaged the front and driver's side of the Elantra and injured four people, three children and an adult, inside the car. Only one person in the car was wearing a seat belt, authorities said.
Neither the adult in the car nor the driver of the semi were injured.
