JACKSONVILLE, FL : 1 dead, 1 seriously injured in head-on, wrong-way crash on I-295 on Tuesday, 27th June 2023

A 30-year-old woman is dead after driving the wrong way on I-295 and hitting a car head-on at Duval Road on Tuesday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The FHP report said the woman, who was in an SUV, was headed south in the northbound lanes of I-295 when she collided head-on with a car.
