Inman, SC : Teen cut from car after head-on Spartanburg Co. crash on Friday morning, August 26, 2016
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a collision which left three people injured on Friday morning.
Troopers said the crash occurred around 7:40 a.m. on Lyman Highway near Inman.
Two 15-year-old were traveling east on Lyman Highway in a 2006 Buick when they crossed the center line, striking a 2008 Kia SUV head-on, according to troopers.
The driver of the Kia, a 40-year-old Inman woman, was transported to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center for injuries.
The teen driver of the Buick was wearing a seat belt and had to be extricated from the vehicle after being entrapped, troopers said. The teen's condition is unknown after being transported to via EMS to Spartanburg Regional.
The 15-year-old passenger in the vehicle was, according to troopers, not wearing a seat belt and also transported to the hospital.
Troopers said charges are pending an investigation.
