Fort Dodge firefighters and police officers work on a two-vehicle accident scene south of the Fort Dodge Middle School Tuesday afternoon. Sgt. Dan Charlson said a juvenile female was driving a Toyota Camry westbound on Dodger Drive, and may have been speeding while doing so. A Ford Fiesta, driven by a man, was pulling out of the middle school parking lot and failed to yield to the vehicle, causing the collision. Both drivers were taken to UnityPoint Health - Trinity Regional Medical Center for treatment.
