SCRANTON, PA : 2 injured, cars damaged in Scranton crash on Saturday, February 25th 2017

Two people were taken to Moses Taylor Hospital on Saturday after a car struck a parked car in a lot in the 700 block of Cedar Avenue, hit a fence and damaged the side of a home, police said.

A woman and a child in the car were taken for evaluation after the 9:45 a.m. crash with what Patrolman Ron Alongi said were minor injuries.

Police briefly blocked part of Cedar Avenue while a tow truck came for damaged vehicles.

A black sedan sustained damage to its front end, and a gray sedan sustained significant damage to its back end during the incident.
