Waynesville, MO : St. Robert man injured in Miller County crash Friday evening, July 1, 2016

An 80-year-old man from St. Robert, Mo. received minor injuries in a crash on Highway 17 in Miller County Friday evening.

Abdul C. Majeed was a passenger in an Acura MDX that went off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree about 0.1 mile north of Saline at approximately 4:05 p.m. July 1, according to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The driver was Humaira Toqeer, 34, of Mississauqa, Ontario, Canada.
Toqeer was not injured.

The crash report indicates both occupants were wearing seat belts.

Majeed was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment.
