GULFPORT, MS : Saucier man responsible for four-vehicle crash charged with DUI on Monday, November 14th 2016
A Saucier man was driving under the influence when he caused a four-vehicle crash on Hwy. 49 Monday morning, police say.
Sgt. Joshua Bromen, with the Gulfport Police Department, said Joel Peresich was driving north when he rear-ended a car, forcing it into the rear of an 18-wheeler just before 10:30 a.m. Peresich’s truck then crossed the median and hit another vehicle heading south.
Bromen said several people, including Peresich, were taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Peresich was released on summons to appear in court for DUI and no proof of insurance, according to Bromen.
