ATWATER, CA : ATV driver hurt in crash near Atwater on Saturday 27th October 2018

An ATV driver sustained minor injuries in a crash Saturday afternoon southwest of Atwater.

The Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office said the crash was reported at 5:48 p.m. on First Avenue East in Gennessee Township. The ATV apparently was southbound in the 17000 block of First Avenue when it struck a cable that was lying across part of the road. The cable was being used by farmers to pull a semi out of a muddy field, according to the Sheriff's Office.
