Stroudsburg,PA : Tobyhanna driver injured in wrong-way crash on I-380 on may, monday 15th 2017

A car was driving the wrong-way, heading south in the Interstate 380 northbound lanes, when it hit a northbound car early Monday morning in Coolbaugh Township, state police learned.
At 12:48 a.m., Sam Pontillo, 82, of Tobyhanna, was driving a 1995 Volvo 960, which a witness said was heading south on 380 in the northbound lanes.Sierra M. McPhillips, 18, of Scranton, was driving a 2007 Audi A4 northbound when she saw the Volvo approaching her head-on. Trying to avoid a direct head-on collision, McPhillips swerved, hitting a Volvo tractor-trailer being driven by Leonardo Baez-Duran, 30, of Lindenhurst, N.Y., in the lane beside her.
Though her car was hit almost head-on while swerving into the tractor-trailer beside her, McPhillips wasn’t seriously injured. Baez-Duran wasn’t injured.
Pontillo was flown to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. His condition is unknown.
