Lexington County,SC : Driver injured in Two car crash in Lexington County on U.S. Highway 21 on Monday August 3rd 2015.

A two-car crash in Lexington County on U.S. Highway 21 on Monday has taken the life of a driver.

Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher identified the driver as Curtis R. Cline, 44.

According to the South Carolina Department of Public Safety, the accident occurred near Calvary Church Road at 5:45 p.m. Monday. Officials say Cline was pronounced dead at the scene after colliding with a 2004 Ford Mustang.

The driver of the Mustang was taken to the hospital with what were described as serious injuries.

Details on how the collision happened were not released. However, SCDPS is continuing its investigation on the accident.
