Blair, NE : One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident
One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident Friday after a driver reportedly failed to obey a stop sign on a rural Washington County road.
Deputies, Blair Rescue and Kennard Rescue responded to the crash at about 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of county roads 29 and 34 southwest of Blair.
Deputy Cody Peters said a black Chrysler 200 was headed eastbound on CR34. The driver failed to stop and struck a maroon Chevrolet Silverado, which was southbound on CR29.
The truck rolled and landed upside down in the east ditch.
The driver of the car refused treatment at the scene. The driver of the truck was transported by private vehicle to Memorial Community Hospital & Health System in Blair.
The truck had a dealer placard in the license plate holder.
Citations are pending, Peters said.
