CELINA, OH : Celina man dies in crash on Friday, 16th March 2018

A man died in a two-vehicle crash at 2:40 p.m. Friday just south of town at Brown Road and US 127.

Aaron Rose, 40, of Celina, was driving an SUV south on US 127 when his vehicle was hit by a box truck driven by Joshua Bruns, 37, of New Bremen, who was going the opposite way. Bruns drove left of center for reasons that have not been determined, according to a news release from the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office.

The impact pushed Rose’s vehicle through a guard rail and onto its side. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Mercer County Coroner Timothy Heinrichs.
