UNION, ME : A passenger on a motorcycle involved in a crash on Sunday, July 18, 2017

A passenger on a motorcycle involved in a crash Sunday afternoon on Route 17 in Union has died.

The two-vehicle crash happened at the intersection of Route 17 and Town House Road, Knox County Chief Deputy Tim Carroll said.A motorcycle driven by Ronald Moon, 64, of Waldoboro, hit the back of a car driven by Chaturvedi Alok, 57, of New Delhi.

Moon's passenger, Felicity Davidson, 63, of Rockport, was ejected from the motorcycle and was killed, deputies said.

Moon suffered broken bones and was taken to the hospital.

Deputies believe Alok did not see the motorcycle.
