Colorado Springs , CO: Driver of Yaris minorly injured and two suspects flee after Hit and run crash at weston east Platte Avenue on Thursday , February 12th 2015

Two occupants of a car involved in a crash Thursday night fled the scene on foot and have not been located, Colorado Springs police said.

Around 11:10 p.m. Thursday, a Toyota Yaris traveling weston east Platte Avenue was struck in the intersection by a Nissan Maxima going north on North Circle Drive, police said.

The driver of the Yaris had a green light, police said. The two males in the Maxima fled the scene, police said. No suspects have been identified.

Police said the driver of the Yaris was taken to a local hospital for minor injuries.

Northbound traffic on North Circle Drive was shut down for about an hour and 45 minutes while the crash was investigated, police said.
