Gallup, NM : 85-year-old Harry Brown died after a single-vehicle fatal collision in northwest of Gallup on Friday, February 5, 2016
New Mexico State Police are investigating a single-vehicle fatal collision that occurred northwest of Gallup.
Police say the crash occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Friday on State Road 264.
They say 85-year-old Harry Brown of Shonto, Arizona, was driving a car eastbound when he lost control of the vehicle.
Brown's car exited the road and hit a side of a hill. Brown was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
State police the crash is still under investigation.
