Phoenix, AZ : Five teens critical injuries, after a collision in Phoenix on Saturday afternoon, January 31, 2015

Five teenagers were transported to an area hospital after a serious crash near 35th Avenue and Dunlap.

This happened Saturday afternoon.

According to the Phoenix Fire Department, they received a call regarding two vehicles involved in the collision and people in need of assistance.

PFD's Capt. Benjamin Santillan stated, "The full size dodge had one driver and was not injured."

An 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old man were taken to a local trauma center in critical condition. A 14-year-old girl and 13-year-old girl were transported to a pediatric trauma center in serious condition, while a 16-year-old male was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

Per Santillan, the collision is under investigation with Phoenix Police Department.

No names have been released in this case.
