ROCK PORT, MO : An Omaha woman was arrested following a single vehicle accident on Monday, July 17, 2017

An Omaha woman was arrested following a single vehicle accident along Interstate 29 in Atchison County early Monday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 34-year-old Andrea Moffatt was driving south on I-29, about three miles north of Rock Port, just after midnight. Her car went off the west side of the interstate and impacted the ditch. The vehicle overturned and came to rest on its top.

Moffatt was taken by Atchison-Holt Ambulance to Community Hospital Fairfax for the treatment of minor injuries.

She was then taken into custody on a felony charge of driving while intoxicated, drugs and careless and imprudent driving resulting in an accident. Moffatt was booked into the Atchison County Jail on a 24-hour hold, pending further court proceedings.

The Atchison County Sheriff's Office assisted with the investigation.
