Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Philadelphia police are looking for a vehicle they believe was a black Jeep after it left the scene after hitting a 2-year-old toddler in the street.
That happened about 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the 6500 block of Guyer Street.
Little Jayceon (JAY’-see-ahn) Robinson was taken to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in stable condition and may be released on Monday.
The boy’s mother, Ciara Robinson, tells WTXF-TV that her son unexpectedly ran out of the house and into the street before he was struck.
The boy’s family says the driver stopped and began to turn around before driving away.
