A 68-year-old man has died following a two-vehicle crash in Winston-Salem over the weekend.
Benjamin Phillip Brogdon of Rural Hall died at the hospital Monday following a crash around 3:15 p.m. Sunday in the 3500 block of Indiana Avenue near Akron Drive.
Phyllis Brogdon, 44, was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries, while a third person suffered minor injuries. Benjamin Brogdon was a passenger in the Cadillac car Phyllis Brogdon was driving, Winston-Salem police said.
Phyllis Brogdon was driving north on Indiana Avenue when it was struck by a Chevrolet Camaro heading south on Indiana Avenue, police said. The Camaro had crossed the center line and entered oncoming traffic, police said.
Alcohol doesn't appear to be a factor in the crash, police said.
The investigation continues.
