LAS VEGAS, NV : Pedestrian killed in crash on Tropicana east of Maryland Pkwy on Friday, 26th January 2024

A pedestrian jaywalking on Tropicana Avenue was killed in a crash Friday night, according to police statements.

At 8:23 p.m., the driver was heading eastbound on Tropicana when they hit a pedestrian crossing the roadway outside a marked zone, LVMPD says.

Responding medical personnel attempted lifesaving measures but ultimately declared the pedestrian dead on scene.
