Atlanta, GA : Driver killed in crash on the Buford Spring Connector on Sunday, 29th December, 2019

A driver is dead after losing control of a car on a major roadway in northeast Atlanta, officials said.

The crash happened about 10:30 p.m. Sunday on the Buford Spring Connector, Atlanta police spokeswoman Capt. Witnesses told police the driver of a small black car was driving in the left lanes of the connector and tried to cross traffic to get off on the exit to Piedmont Road. The driver clipped another car, lost control and drove down an embankment, Channel 2 reported. The driver was pronounced dead. The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office identified the victim as Ahmad M. Moses, 52, of Union City.No one else was injured in the crash, officials said.
