York, PA : Northbound lanes of Interstate 83 closed after crash Friday October 16 2015

Traffic is backing up on Interstate 83 northbound because of a crash in York.
Details of the crash haven't been released, but PennDOT says the northbound lanes are closed for about a mile between Exit 18 and 19 in York. That would be the stretch of road between Route 124 and Route 462.
PennDOT cameras show traffic backed up beyond mile marker 16, a couple miles away.
It wasn't immediately clear when the roads would reopen. The traffic began backing up before noon Friday.
