CHARLESTON, SC : I-26 lanes reopen after crash involving overturned tractor trailer on Monday, 15th February 2021

A crash on I-26 just before the merge with I-526 has been cleared and all lanes of the interstate have reopened.
The crash involved multiple vehicles including an overturned tractor trailer, according to the North Charleston Fire Department.
The crash was reported at 8:33 a.m. and blocked all but one lane. The lanes remained blocked for nearly two-and-a-half hours as crews worked to clear the scene and right the overturned tractor trailer.
Earlier in the morning, the drive time from Summerville to downtown Charleston was just more than 60 minutes, about three times the normal time as drivers faced a backup of six miles because of the lane closures.
No injuries have been reported in the crash.
