AIKEN COUNTY, SC : 18-wheelers crash on I-20 in Aiken County on Friday, 13th July 2018

Two 18-wheelers crashed on I-20 Westbound near mile marker one around 3 a.m. in Aiken County near the state line. After a driver of one of the 18-wheelers lost control, it collided with the other.

The 18-wheeler that lost control was carrying auto parts for Mercedes-Benz, which were scattered throughout the interstate. Oil and contaminants were also on the road which took crews time to clean up.

At least one driver was taken to Augusta University Medical Center, both drivers had minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
