Memphis, TN : Man dies after crashing into church on Summer Avenue on Monday afternoon, March 27, 2017

A man died after the vehicle he was riding in crashed into a church on Summer Avenue on Monday afternoon.

The passenger riding in the car that struck the church died at the hospital, according to police. The driver of that vehicle ran from the scene on foot.

A person in the other vehicle was transported to the hospital. The condition of that person is unknown at this time.

Surveillance video captured the crash on camera.
