SAN JACINTO, CA : Man killed in Lakeview crash identified as a San Jacinto resident, 26 on Saturday, 10th August 2019

The Riverside County coroner has released the name of a man killed Saturday in a head-on crash between a big rig and a vehicle in unincorporated Lakeview near San Jacinto that left another person hospitalized.Danny Joya, 26, was a San Jacinto resident, the coroner’s office said.

Firefighters and paramedics responded to Ramona Expressway east of Bridge Street at 4:15 a.m. and located the wreckage and the two victims, the Riverside County Fire Department said.

Joya was pronounced dead at the scene and the second victim was taken to a hospital with moderate injuries, authorities said.

The California Highway Patrol investigated the cause of the crash.
