Salt Lake City, UT : UHP identifies St. George girl who died in weekend crash on April, Sunday 2nd 2017

The Utah Highway Patrol has identified a teenage girl who died in a weekend crash in southwestern Utah's Washington County.

UHP Sgt. Todd Royce said Abbigayl Kraushaar, 17, of St. George, was westbound on Diamond Valley Drive, about 15 miles north of St. George. She apparently ran a stop sign at State Route 18, about 8:30 p.m. Sunday.

Kraushaar's car was hit by a northbound pickup truck. She died at the scene of the collision.

The pickup's driver was seriously injured but expected to recover.
