PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, OH : A man killed in two-vehicle crash on Monday, 19th November 2018

A 56-year-old Jefferson man died Tuesday morning after he lost control of his vehicle, drove left of the center line and collided with a pick-up truck, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

John Shauberger was driving a 1999 silver Volkswagen Passat north on Plymouth Road, 75 feet from Mann Road, at about 8:35 a.m., when he struck the southbound truck driven by Jeffrey L. Griggs, 62, of Kingsville.

Shauberger was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:35 a.m., according to Ashtabula County Coroner's Investigator Thomas Despenses.

He was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash, according to OHP reports.
