A single-vehicle crash Tuesday night on Celeste Road about nine miles north of Saraland claimed the life of a Citronelle man and injured another, according to Alabama State Troopers. Jerry Lamar Reid, 30, was killed when the 2001 Chevrolet pickup he was driving left the roadway and overturned around 9: 15 p.m., according to Alabama State Troopers spokesperson Kevin Cook. Reid was not using a seat belt, Cook said in a news release. A passenger in Reid's truck, Johnny Dwan Gardner, was sent by Life Flight to USA Medical Center for treatment of his injuries, according to Cook. USA Medical Center told AL.com they did not receive Johnny Gardner Tuesday night.
